This little ditty right here is known as Homemade Speed, it is preformed by the band known as Blatz. I ripped this song off of their 12” split with a band called Filth. This pressing was put out by the Life Is Abuse Record Label and the copy I picked up at the local Record Store the other day came on a Blue-ish vinyl. According to the booklet that came with the record the song was written by Eggplant, Jesse, and Ken Wisconsin. The Vocals were done by everyone in the band. The booklet also has a note about the song stating: “This song has a general and a personnal perspective. The former mostly deals with the obscurity of modern shit society in which a person would cook speed for her family. The later has to do with my father and his inability into the norm. His stubborness to live life carefree and on the (Razor’s)edge. It is not a straight(Fuk)edge song or advocating drugs. It’s just a little look at a human tragedy. - Bob.” I hope you enjoy!
